Bedtime Stories - Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Bedtime Stories application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Bedtime Stories is a mobile application that allows you to:

Sign in with Google
Browse and read illustrated stories and series
Create and manage reader profiles
Save bookmarks and wishlist items
Track and sync reading progress and reading preferences
Access a personal library of reading activity

Platform: Android Requirements: Android 8.0 (API level 26) or higher

3. License and Permitted Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where allowed by law
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, backend systems, or user accounts
Use the App in violation of applicable law
Interfere with the operation or security of the service
Copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from the App except where permitted by law

4. Accounts and Profiles

You are responsible for:

Using a valid Google account for sign-in
Maintaining the security of your device and account access
Managing any reader profiles you create in the app
Ensuring that any information you provide is accurate and lawful to share

If you allow children to use the App through your account or under your supervision, you are responsible for that use.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Bedtime Stories to:

Violate the rights of others
Attempt to disrupt, damage, or overload the service
Access stories, accounts, or data you are not authorized to access
Use the service for unlawful, abusive, or harmful purposes

6. Content and Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, design, branding, and service functionality, is owned by Binod Swain or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain rights, if any, in information you submit through the App, but you grant us any limited rights reasonably necessary to operate the service for you.

8. Service Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App or service at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee:

Continuous or error-free availability
That all content will always be accurate, complete, or current
That synced progress or account state will never be lost or delayed

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App, if any.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it or discontinuing use.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if operation of the service requires it.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
