VoiceFlow - Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the VoiceFlow application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the European Union) to use this App.

2. Description of Service

VoiceFlow is an AI-powered keyboard and voice typing application available on Android that allows users to:

• Type using their voice with on-device speech-to-text transcription
• Rewrite or enhance text using on-device AI (Google LiteRT models)
• Access clipboard history directly from the keyboard
• Invoke a floating AI rewrite bubble from any app

Platform: Android (Google Play Store)
Requirements: Android 10 (API level 29) or higher

3. License and Usage

3.1 License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

3.2 Restrictions

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for commercial purposes without written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or services
• Distribute or share the App in violation of applicable laws
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Content You Type or Dictate

You are responsible for the text you compose, dictate, or process using the App. Do not use VoiceFlow to produce or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.

4.2 Device Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. Local data (voice history, clipboard history) is protected by your device's security measures.

4.3 Permissions

Some features require system-level permissions (microphone, accessibility service, draw-over-apps). Granting these permissions is voluntary; you can revoke them at any time in Android's system settings, though this will disable the corresponding features.

4.4 Lawful Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

5. Privacy and Data

5.1 On-Device Processing

All AI inference — voice transcription and text rewriting — occurs entirely on your device. Your voice and text data is not sent to our servers.

5.2 Local Storage

Voice history and clipboard history are stored locally on your device in an encrypted database. You can disable or delete this data at any time through the App's Settings.

5.3 Privacy Policy

Please review our Privacy Policy, which governs how data is handled in the App and forms part of these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 App Ownership

VoiceFlow and all associated code, design, and assets are owned by Binod Kumar Swain and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to text you compose or dictate using the App.

6.3 Third-Party Components

VoiceFlow uses Google's LiteRT runtime and related open-source libraries under their respective licenses. These components remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Disclaimers

7.1 "As Is" Basis

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7.2 AI Output Accuracy

AI-generated transcriptions and text rewrites may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before use.

7.3 Accessibility Service

The accessibility service integration is provided as a convenience. We are not liable for any unintended interactions with other apps resulting from accessibility service permissions.

7.4 Service Availability

We do not guarantee that the App or on-device model downloads will be available at all times or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Indirect Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.

8.2 Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any).

8.3 Data Loss

We are not liable for loss of locally stored data (voice history, clipboard history) resulting from device failure, app uninstallation, or other circumstances. We strongly recommend Android's built-in device backup for important data.

9. Payments and Refunds

9.1 Pricing

Pricing information for the App is available on the Google Play Store. All payments are processed by Google Play's payment system.

9.2 Refunds

Refund requests are subject to Google Play Store's refund policy. Contact me@binodswain.dev for inquiries beyond Google Play's standard refund window.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Binod Kumar Swain from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App in violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Uninstalling clears all locally stored app data.

11.2 By Us

We may discontinue the App or terminate your license if you violate these Terms.

11.3 Effect of Termination

Your license ends immediately. Sections 6, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.

12. Updates and Modifications

12.1 App Updates

We may release updates to improve functionality, security, or compatibility. You are encouraged to install updates promptly.

12.2 Terms Updates

We may update these Terms from time to time and will notify you through in-app notices or release notes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal dispute, please contact us at me@binodswain.dev to seek an informal resolution.

13.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. For international users, your local consumer protection laws also apply where they provide greater protection.

13.3 Jurisdiction

Legal proceedings shall be conducted in courts located in Odisha, India, subject to applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding VoiceFlow.
